Our Company Values
For those who are looking for financial advice, we realize the available options are many and deciding who to work with is a challenging problem. Listed below are our Company Values which we hope will give you a better understanding of how we operate.
- People Matter – We believe that each person is innately valuable and worthy of respect and honor. We believe that relationships matter and that business is relational, top to bottom. People First, Money Second is a priority statement that places people and relationships ahead of financial matters.
- Integrity Matters – We believe that integrity and truth matter. We believe we need to conduct our business in such a way that we are above reproach. We believe suitability and ethical practices come from placing a high value on other people and their needs before our own.
- Communication Matters – We believe that communication with our client partners builds and maintains the trust that is necessary for business relationships to reach their full potential. We believe that our client partners deserve the type of communication that is frequent, timely, truthful, & relevant.
- Service Matters – We believe that good service is practical and that great service is necessary in the pursuit of business excellence. We will pursue perfection and in so doing “catch a little excellence along the way.” (Vince Lombardi)

Vice President, Keough Retirement Strategies
Randy is licensed life insurance and annuities broker and works in a fiduciary capacity, which means he is acting in the best interest of his clients. He specializes in maximizing income accumulation without subjecting his clients to market losses or to taxation upon the distribution of retirement funds (“Tax-Free Retirement”) that will last a lifetime. Randy works with business owners and individuals to help them to properly structure insurance strategies and to inform them of the value of properly designed annuities to help them secure additional income for life.
I grew up in the insurance business. My father was in the life insurance business his entire life and helped to start two very successful insurance companies. He was instrumental in assembling their sales forces. We were raised on a steady diet of Norman Vincent Peale, Frank Bettger and Dale Carnegie.
After graduating from the University of Iowa, I attended the University of Denver College of Law and graduated with a juris doctorate degree in 1979. I was a corporate attorney and landman in the oil and gas business. I was more interested in business than I was in the law and commenced a lengthy career in corporate store development as a real estate manager working for McDonald’s, Rite Aid, Starbucks, Outback Steakhouse and Dish Network. I have been a licensed real estate broker since 1983. In 2014 I went to work with a commercial real estate development group and developed senior living facilities, industrial buildings, daycare centers and self-storage projects. I have been responsible for developing over 260 commercial properties.
I realized that my work in commercial real estate and development was not personally rewarding. Who really cares if you created another McDonald’s or Starbucks? I was looking for a career where I could have my own company and provide a valuable service that would really help people. In 2018 I joined my brother Brian in the insurance business. Brian has been in the business for over 25 years.
I found the strategies that enabled people to realize stock-market-like returns while facing no chance of experiencing market losses to be very intriguing. The tax-free retirement strategy that uses a life insurance retirement plan to grow cash value at an accelerated rate with no market losses and then allows an individual to take money out in retirement tax-free was the best retirement plan ever! This strategy is the “Easy Button” for retirement planning. Many people chase huge returns in real estate and the stock market and that’s great. However, those markets can be very punishing on a regular basis. Warren Buffet is happy with a steady 8% return. Slow and steady always wins the race.
Plan For Your Future
There is no one “best place” to put your retirement money because each individual and couple has unique requirements, different tolerances for risk, and need their money at different times. Likewise, there is no one place to keep your money that fits everyone for exactly the same reasons. Your unique circumstances must be taken into consideration if you seek to find the “most favorable place” for your retirement money. This is where we can be of service.
